Hello, today we will be going over the process of making a correction to a 1095 form on the Years website. We'll be going over the steps to correct a 1085 form and help forms display when a correction has been made. To start the correction, click on the form file and history button on your file at home. Locate the confirmation number with the form that needs to be corrected, then click on the "Make Corrections" icon to the right of the confirmation number. If you are correcting a recipient with 10 validation errors, select the correct "Attendee/Name Mismatch" option. If you are selecting a different recipient, choose the correct "Other Forms" option. In this video, we'll be making a correction to the Tenon Phi C code reported. Click on the correct button under the "Round 10 and I See Information" heading. To start this type of correction, select a recipient or recipients that the corrections will need to be done for. Click "Mats" to move the selected recipients to the forms in progress. Click the "Edit" link to the right of the recipient's name to access the form and make the necessary changes. Once you've made the change to the code, click on "Save" to save the form. This will return you to the form in progress screen. The recipient whose form was edited will be marked as corrected. Repeat this process for any remaining forms. If no changes are made to a form but it is alleged, the form will display as corrected. If no changes were made to the form, click "Cancel" instead of "Save" to return to the forms in progress screen. Click "Follow Forms" to start the form submission process for 1095 Corrections.
