Hello, my name is Charles, and I'm here with Express ACA Forms to talk about the benefits of filing your Affordable Care Act forms with the IRS. The IRS forms 1094 and 1095 were created to report new information required by the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. This information lets the federal government know if taxpayers were offered at least the minimum essential health care coverage required each year. Express ACA Forms is a self-service IRS authorized e-file provider for the new Affordable Care Act forms. Now, if you have to file 250 or more forms, the IRS requires you to e-file. But regardless of how many forms you're filing, e-filing is the way to go. Whether you're an insurance provider or an employer, Express ACA Forms makes the e-filing process quick and easy to understand. When you pay per file your ACA forms, you'll have to include a Form 1094 transmittal form with your Form 1095. If you choose to e-file, you will only need the Form 1095. Our program will walk you through the forms step-by-step, providing helpful guidelines along the way. We will also an internal error check before you transmit the returns to make sure that everything is filled in correctly the first time through. Keep in mind that Form 1095 forms are due to your recipients by March 31st. If you want to paper file, you'll need to have those forms to the IRS by the last day of May. But if you're going to e-file, you have until the end of June to send them in. So don't wait until the last minute.
