Sentence 1: So now you've produced this fine piece of work. Sentence 2: You provided the person who sponsored the study with what they need to make decisions. Sentence 3: It looks really nice as professionals got a nice cover on it. Sentence 4: Now you're not going to just drop that off in somebody's desk. Sentence 5: You're going to put a cover memorandum of transmittal on it. Sentence 6: You're going to tell people who helped you with the report. Sentence 7: You're going to sign this memorandum. Sentence 8: Basically, what you're doing is telling people you gave me permission to do this, I did it, and these people helped me. Sentence 9: It's also a subtle way of saying I did what I was asked to do. Sentence 10: So don't just drop something off on somebody's desk. Sentence 11: You actually need to let them know from whom it came. Sentence 12: Ideally, then you don't just leave the piece of paper there. Sentence 13: Ideally, you present the report.
