Instructions and Help about Are Form 1094 B Preparation

Hi everyone I'm dr. Tanner Waggoner this morning I thought I would start out talking about the taxes because tax returns are due next week very very quickly here and people are having questions I'm getting questions about the health issue on a tax return so remember when President Trump you know when he was inaugurated the first execute order that he put in place was minimizing the economic burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act printing her appeal and that was to relax some of the penalty phases in this campaign and so what happened was it said that on line 61 that people did not have to disclose whether or not they had health insurance that's what it said now that was gonna be where it affected certainly software with it if they went to a certain tax preparer and they were using certain software and this was like H&R Block this kind of thing and then later on what I found out is that it's not for wouldn't even update it so that's what was going on and so this morning I received a email question basically saying you know I need to know what's going on you know do people have to disclose on my 61 you know or on line 11 which is on the easy form because they couldn't find out any information so here's here's where it stands with me this is what I would be doing and I know that is a good order but listen to what it said let me tell you what the title was again minimizing the economic burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act pending repeal the American Health Care Act did not go through so there's no repeal and the thing that they said when they stopped the funding is that the Affordable Care Act is the law of the land which means penalties are still in effect now that's how I perceive that if somebody if you want to tell me on brown or if you have some better information please leave us a comment below so that we all know but that's where that stands the former carrot is the law of the land until they do something different so if you're somebody who you know you heard that first thing back in January beginning if they were they said you don't have to disclose health insurance on line 11 or line 61 but that remember that thing said pending repeal and Obamacare Affordable Care Act is the law of the land which means there are penalties still in place now what were the IRS do with those who file beforehand before the the American health care didn't go through I don't know so it's up to you how you handle that but I wanted you to know that is the update that's where that's what I that's the way I take it that because the Affordable Care Act is the law of the land and there's no repeal right now that penalties are still in effect all right I'm dr. Chaffee Wagner like I said if you have a comment leave a below so that we all know if you know something different and stay tuned
